Strong honeybee colonies are not only more productive but tend to be healthier and have better survival chances over winter. Also tend to be easier to maintain and are more efficient against some pets such as wax moth and hive beetle.
I’ll not say beekeeping is easy, just because everything it comes easier with knowledge and passion. I’ll just describe how to develop and maintain strong and healthy honeybee’s colonies.

Getting Started
In this section we’ll discuss how to set up and develop a strong honeybee colony from a bee package or nuc. First year goal is to extend the colony and prepare it for winter.
What’s need it to start up a honeybee colony, a beehive, beekeeping tools, is good to have some protective gear, couple of space dividers, few beeswax foundation sheets, choose a location for the beehive.Its recommended to have a queen bee introduction cage, make a blanket from old sweat shirt or pants to preserve heat.
